Trevor Flaxman Director Project Engineer Mechanical Engineer Supervisor		Prior to forming AKMS, Trevor had 24 years experience in the cement industry with Blue Circle Southern Cement Company (Aust). While with BCSC Trevor worked in various capacities such as Design Draftsman, Site Engineer and Project Engineer.

Shane Jago Director Mechanical Engineer Mechanical Draftsman Supervisor		Prior to forming AKMS, Shane had 20 years experience in the rotary vessel industry, specifically in the chemical and cement industries. During that time Shane worked as a Design Draftsman and as an Assistant Plant Maintenance Engineer.

Wayne Kearney Director Engineering Surveyor Supervisor		Initially Wayne had 21 years experience in construction where he was the Survey Superintendent on high precision projects such as paper machine rebuilds, aluminium smelter construction and nuclear power plant construction. Immediately prior to forming AKMS Wayne had seven years experience working on rotary vessel maintenance.

Over a period of seven years in which Trevor, Shane and Wayne occasionally worked along side each other, but for different parties, they came to the realisation that the rotary vessel industry was having to deal with several diverse groups in order to achieve a single objective.

Trevor, Shane and Wayne saw that their individual expertise and experiences complimented each other and, when combined as a group, allowed an overlapping of skills which would enable them to form the basis on which to build a purpose oriented maintenance organisation.

By employing highly skilled trades-persons Trevor, Shane and Wayne now provide a complete ‘one-stop’ maintenance service to the rotary vessel industry. A client, by contacting AKMS, need only deal with the one company whether the requirement is either for advice, or for alignment surveys, or for fabrication and installation of gears, bedplates and shell sections.
